Vistaprint Creations

I purchased the Groupon deal and wanted to share my creations. I am so excited to get all of the following things in the mail.

 A stamp for books

A bag for my student teacher

A card to celebrate our accomplishments

Simple Thank You notes to send home

A matching note pad

An easy way to recognize good behaviors when I forget and have to grab something on the way out of the door. I can attach these to a fun and special prize.

Labels for take home folders
I also made magnets with my information for parents. They are really cute and zebra print but I couldn't figure out how to block out my information in order to share it. I have a positive postcard I am currently designing but I haven't ordered it yet. If you use Vistaprint, I would love to see your creations as well so go ahead and link up with Vistaprint Fever!

Monday Made It #4

YAY! It is Monday and time to see all of the creative projects for this week. Next Monday I return to work and do not believe I will be as excited as I am today. I am linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for her fabulous linky! I don't know what I would have done with all of my spare time without this great idea!

Monday Made it #1: Post it picture frames

The original inspiration is from Deal Wise Mommy and her creations were super cute. I am not the best with ribbon so I decided to just stick to embellishments.

Post-It Picture Frame

Here is my version of frames. I made some for my Mama's office staff and for the people I work with at school. I really liked how they turned out.

Monday Made It #2: ABC Gems

My original inspiration comes from Everyday Art. I like how they used various backgrounds and paper.

Here is my creation. I bought the pink stickers at Michaels and just put them on plain white paper. I have plenty more of these to make and think next time I will use different backgrounds like they did. I like these because it gives my students something besides just the regular store bought ABC magnets.

Monday Made it #3: Happy Birthday Balloons

My birthday balloons were inspired by Christie at Teaching in Flip Flops. She shared the template for her balloons and you can get it by clicking here. I haven't decided how I am going to store these yet; however, I like how they turned out. I made a few extras since I don't know how many boys and girls I will have this year.

Monday Made It # 4: Daily Schedule

I was tired of looking at my boring schedule. In Pre-K, they have to be able to manipulate it and show how they move throughout the day. My current schedule was limited and didn't include everything that we did. I got the idea and inspiration from The First Grade Parade.

If you click on the picture above, it will take you to her blog where you can download your own copy. However, I needed different things than she offered so I used her inspiration to create my own. Here is my version for my classroom. I put them down with velcro so I can move them to adjust our day.

These are my creations for the week. I am excited about the things on my to do list for this week. I am off to get started on them and see what other people can inspire me to add to my list. Have a great Monday!

Behavior Management

I was on pinterest yesterday and came across this great way to keep up with behavior management.
If you click the picture, it will take you to Frogs and Fairy Tales blog where you can view Mrs. B's creations for behavior management. She has several options. Since I teach Pre-K, we are not allowed to have clip charts and display behaviors in the classroom for all parents to see. This means this handy dandy sheet is even better for me. I wanted to combine two of her creations so that I can document both positive and negative behaviors. Here is a picture of my creation below. I cannot wait to implement it in my classroom along with some other great pinterest finds.

Have a great Saturday!

Monday Made It #3

I am joining Tara over at 4th Grade Frolics for her fabulous Monday Made It! This certainly makes Monday mornings enjoyable to wake up and see what everyone has been inspired to create this past week. I was not as successful with creating things this week since I had cheerleading camp.Camp was very successful and Praise the Lord injury free!

My first creation was inspired for my art center bulletin board. I have searched everywhere for a bulletin board that includes colors in a jungle theme.
T-8707 Color Monkeys Mini Bulletin Board Set
I could only find this monkey one and personally it is not my favorite. The monkey isn't as cute as I would like for him to be in my room. So I thought of animals in the jungle that I don't have incorporated in my room already and elephants won. I found this cute clip art from google that is Carson Dellosa and changed the colors in paint. Then created my own color words for each one.

My second creation is my I'm done cards inspired by the famous I'm done jar on pinterest. I haven't decided what else I would like to offer as an option but here are a few of my options. I will display these cards on my small group board so students know their choices before we start small group. Hopefully, it will eliminate the famous question of "What do I do now?"

I also spent a good amount of time printing out flannel board stories from  Kiz Club. They have a great selection of stories. Some of the ones I printed and colored to save on ink are The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Mouse Paint, 5 Little Monkeys, and Where Is The Green Sheep. Click on the picture below to go to their website for learning resources.

Be sure to check out all of the fabulous ideas everyone else has contributed by clicking on the button at the top of the page! I am off to cheerleading camp again this week!

Monday Made It Again

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am linking up with Tara over at 4th Grade Frolics for her Monday Made It. I have several things to share that I made this week.

I posted about this last week on a different post. I am so proud of it so I will share it again! Here is my first day of school picture frame.

I was inspired by Ms. Walter who was guest blogging on Wolfelicious to create a positive reinforcement jar. The first picture is her fish bowl. If you click on her picture it will take you to her post.

Here is my version. I loved her fish bowl but was afraid to have glass in my Pre-K classroom. So I bought a jar from dollar tree and wrapped it with purple duct tape. I used my lever punch to cut circles out of some cheetah scrapbook paper. Then I used stickers to put the words on the yellow paper.

I created these to have beside my jar so when one of the teachers sees a student making good choices we can write the child's name on the slip and put it in the jar. I am still deciding how I want to reward these students.

I made a DIY dry erase picture frame. My inspiration came from Little Birdie Secrets. If you click the picture below they give instructions.

I wanted to use mine for my classroom so I revamped it to a To Do List. I used some left over zebra paper that I bought from Wal-Mart and printed the lines and words on it. Then, I put it in the frame and voila! I love it and it will go great in my classroom. I am hoping it will help with keeping me, my student teacher, and my para on top of things. I don't like to delegate so this will help everyone know what needs to be done.

I decorated clothespins to hang on the walls of my classroom to match my theme. I got the idea from One Good Thing By Jillee. The picture below will take you to her page for a detailed description on how to complete the project. I always forget to take pictures while I make things.

Here are my clothespins. I still have to add magnets or push pins. I haven't decided which I want to do yet. I may end up doing some of both.

I went to Hobby Lobby and bought wooden letters while they were on sale. I used some zebra scrapbook paper that I already had and here is how they turned out. I attached some red polka dot ribbon that I had to hang them up.

I used my lever to punch out circles from giraffe print scrapbook paper. I made circles on the computer and used a cute font to make the letters welcome. I need to buy another size circle punch because my cutting skills are not great for circles especially since I am a perfectionist. I am going to laminate them and use them as the header on my parent information board.

I also mixed cheerleading music and choreographed a routine for a local high school for this week. Of course, I cannot share their music because they purchased it custom made and it belongs to them now. I have counted to 8 over and over so many times lately that I think that is as high as my brain goes now!
It has been a long HOT day at cheer camp. I couldn't wait to get home and see what everyone else made for this week! I am sure I will be inspired by many links. Have a blessed day!

Fabulous Friday Finds

I am linking up with Fun in Room 4B for the Fabulous Find Friday. I really do not have a lot to share but I was excited about some of my dollar tree finds today. I went to the store with my Mama for her to pick up some things. While I was browsing along, I found  these cute Jungle related items.

The lace and learn animal shapes were just too cute to pass up because we need all of the fine motor skills we can get while in Pre-K. The tigers are to display student work with and I thought I could use something besides zebra everywhere so I added them to my collection. The jars I purchased to create a caught being good jar. I got the wonderful idea from Hoot Hoot Hooray who was guest blogging for Wolfelicious. Click on the button below to go to link and check it out!
 Hoot Hoot Hooray!

My next fabulous find was on the internet while browsing blogs. It is called Remind101. It is a free way to communicate with parents through text message or email while keeping your contact information confidential. Parents have the option of subscribing to your notifications to stay on top of classroom assignments and reminders. Mrs. Stanford really discovered this find and did a great job sharing it in detail so click the link below to go to her blog and check it out!

I hope everyone has a fun, safe, and relaxing weekend! I will be choreographing a cheerleading routine all weekend!
