Monday Made It - July 27

WOW! It is my last Monday off before I go back to school. Where did the summer go?? My to do list is still way too long!!! I am linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for her

My first made it was inspired by this sign I saw on Facebook. Sorry for the terrible screenshot. I knew I would never be able to find it again.  I don't even know who the credit belongs to.

We loved this idea because we are a small school and we don't have an office that connects to our classrooms. So we revamped the signs some and came up with this. We are going to display this by our entrance to our hallway since we are located on a college campus.  I bought two foam boards and traced the letters on with the projector.

I made a new welcome sign to go outside my classroom door. I love the way it turned out. I hope to get to school to hang it soon.

Since I am currently without a para I figured I needed to make my life as easy as possible. I created an attendance log so I would be able to keep easy track of attendance and hand it off when we do find someone.

These alphabet gems are always a favorite. My last set looked terrible so I decided I needed to make some more. Thanks to Target and Dollar Tree for the cute letters and cheap gems.

I am off to check out what everyone else has been creating. Have a wonderful Monday!

I made a social story for my Pre-K students to learn our morning routine. I forget every year that when 4 year olds come to school they don't know anything!! We have to teach every thing we want them to do. So this is to help me remember all the important steps. I got the awesome clip art from

I created a cute new cover to match my theme for my classroom! I really enjoy looking at it. Maybe that will keep a smile on my face when the days get hard. My paraprofessional got a teaching job and her own classroom which I am super excited about for her; however, I am now all alone and the hunt begins for someone new.

We bought ipod shuffles for our classroom to use in our listening library. I bought two hanging shower caddies to clip them on to and place the books in. I knew my Pre-K students would not be able to put the right book in the right basket so I made labels for each book to hang on the basket. Here are a picture of my labels all laminated and cut ready to hang.

My second made it is signs for our tables at Meet the Teacher night. I love the way they turned out.

Well I am off to enjoy the beach and go walking with my Daddy!

Monday Made It - July 6

I am linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for her Monday Made It! Be sure to visit her website and check out all of the inspiring projects.

My first made it this week was inspired by all of the pallets on Pinterest. I just happened upon this smaller pallet at Wal-Mart in the craft aisle. I immediately knew I wanted to paint it to look like a flag. It was really easy. I had some star foam pieces that I used a stamp to make my stars.

This made it was inspired by Truth Be Told Art.  This is a great organization to paint with the truth from God's word. I attended one of the parties at a local church and started following their Facebook page. I saw this design on their page and made it my own. The hardest part was transferring the words onto the canvas. I used wax paper and printed my scripture mirrored and then traced it on with a sharpie enough for an outline that I could write over it. I love the way it turned out!

I created a new header for my blog, a button, and my signature as well. I decided I needed a little facelift.

My last made it for this week is these super cute name tags. We give our students symbols as well so I plan to draw each child's symbol on the name tag with a white painters pen. I haven't decided if I will use these tags for the cubbies or the floor yet but I LOVE how they turned out!
